There are two contests for the Last Comic Standing: Create a new punchline for the tortilla joke and create some sort of image representing the tortilla on the tightrope.

On the Wednesday, June 13 Premier of Last Comic Standing on NBC 3 terrible jokes were featured before commercial breaks where you had to send a $1 text message to receive the overpriced punchline. I have created a contest about one of those jokes:

Q: What did the tortilla say when it got to the end of the tightrope?

A: Tos-TADA

This contest is an attempt to turn a bad joke into a good joke.

New Punchline: I will send $5 via Paypal to the funniest alternative punchline to the tortilla joke as decided by me. Any punchline posted as a comment to one of the postings in the Bad Joke category or emailed to tortilla@misterrandom.com will be considered a contest entry. There are no limits to the number of entries per person. If a winning punchline is submitted by more than one person, the first entry received by me will be the winner. If more than one alternate punchline makes me laugh out loud, I reserve the right to award more than one prize at my discretion. Entries must be received by 9 pm Pacific Time Wednesday, June 20, 2007. Winners will be announced no later than Thursday, June 21, 2007
Tightrope Walking Tortilla Image: I will send $10 via Paypal to my favorite image submitted that represents the tortilla crossing the tightrope. Submissions should be sent to tortilla@misterrandom.com. The image may be submitted in any format but is preferred to be either jpg or gif format. Additional bonus possible though for animated gifs, flash, videos etc. There are no size or dimension guidelines or limitations. There are no limits to the number of submissions. As with the punchline contest, if there is more than one submission that I really like, I reserve the right to award more than one prize at my discretion. Entries must be received by 9 pm Pacific Time Wednesday, June 20, 2007. Winners will be announced no later than Thursday, June 21, 2007.

For both contests any dispute will be resolved by me. All submissions will be posted on misterrandom.com and tortillajoke.com at the conclusion of the contest. Links to the winners’ blog/website will be published as well.
